A great turnout through some fine conditions saw the 53rd Annual Men’s Stephen’s Day Blitz thoroughly enjoyed at its new home up in An Fuaran.
After a superb day’s basketball, Stephen Tummon’s team lifted the Jim Lee Perpetual Trophy, earning the big man (who swam the English Channel this year) finally exit the Hall of Shame of non-winners.
Keith Bohan was named the Dandy Kelly Spirit of the Blitz Award winner and also bagged his fourth Blitz title and passage to the Hall of Fame for players with four or more titles.
Winning team was Stephen Tummon, Glen Hynes, Sean Candon, James Cummins, Eoghan Power, Rhys Plower, Cormac Lee and Keith Bohan.
