U14 Boys Reach Cork County Board Semi-Final

Wins against Youghal, Killarney, Portlaoise and Demons (Cork) before bowing out at the semi-finals to an excellent Eanna (Dublin) team

Our u14 team had an early start yesterday heading to Cork at 5:30am but it was all worth it as they got to the semi-finals of the Cork County Board tournament in the famed Parochial hall yesterday.

The boys topped their group by beating Youghal 40-24, St Paul’s Killarney 30-23 and Blue Demons A 26-13.

They then beat Portlaoise Panthers in the quarter finals 34-28 before finally bowing out to Eanna in the semi-finals 51-25.

Noah Griffin lead the way on 15 points, 7 rebounds and 5 steals per game. Jack Cleary at centre also hit the highest number of threes for the team with 4 over the tournament. Great progress made from last year.
